We have an excellent opportunity for an Electrician / Tester to join our on-site team working on an industrial site in Northampton.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to carry out electrical fixed installation testing across the site together with providing support electrical installations working on:

  • 415 Volts and below
  • 3 phase / single phase motors
  • Lighting circuits
  • Traywork / conduit installations
  • Cable glanding
  • Panel wiring and controls

You will be required to complete tests sheets together with remedial work where required.  You will also provide accurate feedback within Client systems.

You must have previous experience of fixed testing within an industrual envirnoment and have experience of working on:

Working Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday-Friday). Overtime may be required.

Skills and Experience

You must have previous experience of working within a fixed testing role.

You will also have worked within an industrial engineering environment together with a good health and safety knowledge.  Excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills are essential.

You must posses an electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ3).  City & Guilds 2391 (2394/2395) and 17th / 18th Edition is essential for this role.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
